For much of my early life, I sought answers to challenges that weighed heavily on my mind and body. My foundational understanding of human behaviour comes from earning a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Virginia. However, I found myself drawn to body-based approaches to healing, which led me to train as a professional somatic practitioner through Core Energetica in the Netherlands and to become a Certified Holistic Life Coach and Somatic Practitioner with the MindBodyFood Institute in Australia. These programs, combined with my trauma-informed perspective, have allowed me to integrate both psychological insight and somatic techniques, helping me facilitate deeper healing for my clients.

In my early 30s, during a particularly difficult time, I experienced what I now call a spiritual awakening. I began questioning everything—my purpose, my relationships, and how I was living. It felt like my soul was crying out for something more, something deeper that I couldn’t access through words alone. During this time, I discovered somatic therapy, and it was a turning point in my life. Unlike anything I had tried before, this body-based approach helped me reconnect with myself in ways I never imagined possible. It also brought about the deepest and most transformational changes in my life that traditional “talk” therapy had not helped me to realise.

My journey into somatic healing was life-changing. As I began to listen to my body, I realised it held the key to my healing. I learned how to release stored trauma, regulate my nervous system, and find peace in stillness and the present moment. This transformative experience didn’t just help me heal; it ignited a passion in me to help others find the same relief and reconnection that I did.

I am a certified Trauma Informed Somatic Therapist and Holistic Life Coach , utilising practices including breathwork, energy/reiki healing, and body-based approaches. My work focuses on guiding clients to heal from trauma and stress by reconnecting with their bodies. My approach is rooted in the belief that the body holds the key to healing. I use a ‘bottom-up’ method, focusing on breath, movement, and nervous system regulation to guide clients in releasing stored trauma and reconnecting with themselves.
